Notice of meeting

I hereby give notice of the next meeting of North Scarle Parish Council which will take place on Thursday 23rd April 2026 in North Scarle Village Hall at 7.00pm.  All members of the Parish Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering the items listed below. 

Refreshments will be available to those attending from 6.30pm.

04/26/01 Apologies - To receive, and consider for approval, apologies for absence and reasons given.

04/26/02 Declarations of Interest - Members to declare any interest they may have in agenda items that accord with the Council’s Code of Conduct and Standing Orders. (NB this does not preclude any later declarations)

04/26/03 – Minutes of the last meeting – To receive, approve and sign the minutes of the meeting held on Thursday 19th March 2026

04/26/04 – Reports and updates – To receive reports and updates on actions taken since 19th March 2026

04/26/05 – Public Forum

General discussion and no resolutions can be made by the Parish Councillors, but items can be considered for the next agenda.

03/26/06 – Items for consideration and resolution

• IT support – Council is asked to consider contracting IT support to resolve issues with emails and data storage
• Council is asked to consider moving banks from NatWest to Unity Trust bank.
• Council is asked to consider proposed increases to cemetery fees.
• Council is asked to investigate the up-to-date value of Two Parcels of Agricultural Land to determine correct future rental arrangements
• Council is asked to resolve to Purchase Poppies for Remembrance 2026.
• Council is asked to resolve to agree Advertisement rates and format for North Scarle News
• Council is asked to consider a contribution of £100 to the annual Duck Race (Kate Ward).
• Council is asked to resolve to agree which tools will be purchased for the Handy Man/Gardner & agree source to be Car Boot sale before Commercial Purchase. 

04/26/07 – Finance

• Account balances – To receive bank balances to 31st March 2026
• Bank reconciliation – To receive and approve bank reconciliation to 31at March 2026
• Payments since last meeting – To approve payments since 19th February 2026
• Invoices for payment – To approve invoices for payment

04/26/08 – Planning – Council is asked to consider planning policies, applications and appeals received and resolve to submit comments where appropriate.

04/26/09– Correspondence – To note any correspondence received.

04/26/10 – To resolve to move into closed session in accordance with the public bodies (admission to meetings) Act 1960 due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed in relation to the following matters:
