The more recent new estates in North Scarle at the outline planning stage where starter homes but once planning accepted then they built big houses instead.

Will the village received any money from the development.

The speed the cars go through the village

The work vehicles blocking access to road

PLANNING

9 Dwelling on Eagle Road 17/0079/FUL

We will oppose the planning until we have answers to the following comments below:

1) There have been many sewage issues within North Scarle over the last 10 years including the local Primary School having to be closed twice while raw sewage covered their playing field. Are you aware that a company called Noble foods that employ over 200 staff on a 24/7-hour basis contribute to the volume of sewage coming through our pumping station. Our concern is that the pumping station will not be able to cope with the extra volume due to the new dwellings. Can you please liaise with Severn Trent to confirm that village pumping station will be able to handle the extra volume of waste from the new dwellings? Once you have your findings can you please forward over the relevant documentation so we can re-evaluate the planning application.

2) The water pressure down Eagle Road has been known to drop on several occasions throughout the summer months. Can Anglian Water please look into the affect that the new dwellings will have on the water pressure issues?

3) We would like one of the existing plots to be changed to a pair of Semi- Detached houses to offer more affordable living.

4) Eagle Road is in a poor state and the increase of vehicles will have an impact on this.

 Proposed RH Seconded AW

1 Dwelling and new access on School Lane 16/1676/FUL

We are opposing the application on grounds of sewage issues within the village. We will re-evaluate once we have information from Severn Trent.
