To all members of North Scarle Parish Council
You are hereby summoned to attend a Meeting of North Scarle Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 12 March 2025 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.
There will be a 15 minute public forum at the start of the meeting:
- members of the public may ask questions or make short statements (3 minutes max.) to the Council regarding subjects which are on the agenda. These comments will be noted and addressed by Council at the appropriate point in the meeting and not during the public forum.
- any comments or questions relating to items not on the agenda should be emailed or posted to the Parish Clerk (details above). If appropriate they will be added to a future agenda.
- during the Parish Council meeting, no further comments will be heard from members of the public unless invited to contribute by the Chairman.

1. Apologies
2. To receive any Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and consider any requests for dispensations in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests or other Interests as outlined in the Council's Code of Conduct.
3. Notes of the meeting held on 15 January 2025 to be approved as the Minutes of that meeting.
4. Planning - information already forwarded to Parish Councillors:

24/0956/FUL – Cranswick Pet Products, Lodge Farm, Wigsley Road. Additional information.
No further comments were received from Parish Councillors for submission before the deadline.
Decision Notices – for information only
24/1413/VARCON Application to vary conditions – 3 Eagle Road. Approved.
24/1401/FUL – Boiler room extension – Cranswick Pet Products, Lodge Farm, Wigsley Road. Approved.
5. Update from Sewerage Working Party
6. Mill Dam Dyke and water course.
FANS will provide an update on the current situation.
7. Schedule of payments made between 1 January 2025 and 28 February 2025 has been circulated to the Councillors.
Councillors to raise any questions regarding the payments made.
Paid invoices to be signed and countersigned to indicate Councillors’ agreement.
8. VE Day event. Update on any possible event. Specific requests; do the Parish Council have traffic cones that can be borrowed and a request for a £200 donation to the event.
9. Allotments. Agree wording for next year’s tenancy agreement.
10. Jubilee Garden on Chapel Lane. In May 2024 it was resolved that the area would not be maintained due to lack of use. Chairman would like to revisit this.
11. Village Hall. Parish Council representative needed for the Village Hall and Playing Field Committee.
12. Streetlights. Discuss current arrangement to replace 2 x bulbs each year. Should this continue or only happen when needed for maintenance purposes in future?
13. Discuss and agree maximum amount to spend on a new strimmer.
14. Discuss and agree maximum amount to spend on a new door frame (back door) at the Heritage Room to replace rotten frame.
15. LCC Councillor to provide a report if appropriate.
16. NKDC Councillor to provide a report if appropriate.
17. Resolve to agree provisional date of next meeting (14 May 2025) (to be preceded by the Annual Parish Meeting at 7pm).
18. Resolve to move into Closed Session.
19. SIDS. Discuss cost of servicing the radars.
20. Playing Field bridge. Discuss quotes (if received before the meeting) for a structural survey.
21. Heritage Room. Discuss tenancy agreement due for renewal September 2025.
